ECW 1995-2000:Blackout Edition v3.0.1 (SynysterSoftware) v3.0.1 (the real v3.0)

I'm pretty late to the party, but this mod is so wonderful. There's so much care and attention to detail. It really captures the spirit of ECW. It's definitely the type of game we wanted back in the 90's.

One glitch I wanted to point out is Rhino's taunt seems glitched. If you taunt with Rhino, the taunt doesn't load, and Rhino stands there, frozen, until attacked, at which point he's able to move again.

This issue aside, I've been having a lot of fun exploring this.

Incredibly fun mod, I've been following SynysterSoftware for a while and his stuff has always been great. Can't wait for ECW 2: All Out!

This mod is what should've been the ECW game fans got back in the day instead of, Hardcore Revolution & Anarchy Rulz. If only it was made by Yukes and not Acclaim. Love the barbed wire animations, and the move hacks. You've done a great job, appreciate you sharing this with the community.

It's amazing that right now, 2 of the best wrestling games in existence are romhacks of two classics that make them ECW games. This and ECW Born to be Wired (No Mercy romhack). Tremendous work as always!

Thank you for making such a fun, detailed and solid mod! It plays even better than SD2, and the groggy grapple is a great idea. I've just skimmed the surface of 3.0 and love it already!

Hi there great mod. Loving it.
I am having a problem in career mode at the rumble, the game freezes at entry 13. Has anyone mentioned this before??
I've tried adjusting setting, didnt help.
When I play the over the top match on exhibition no problems at all.

Thank you for taking the time and effort to produce this awesome game. It really makes me wish that they released a better game when they were in existence but this has been a ton of fun so far.

Man the care and effort, not to mention the time you committed to the details of this game and the wcw...unbelievable. absolutely love the releases. Hopefully you can give us a WWF 95-98 version soon to cover the new generation and early attitude era.

The new 2.0 mod doesn't seem to accept my save file from v1.5. It just keeps saying there's no SD2 data on the memory card (I'm playing on PS3 through HEN). Was this the intention that we had to start from scratch again?

As a die hard ECW fan this is like a dream come true, thank you so much for making this, really appreciate your efforts. The only recommendation I can make is if you can somehow put some blood into this game, either in cut scenes or somehow get the wrestlers bleeding in the ring, could make it better. But as it stands this game is one of my favorites to play right now!

This game and WCW Rebooked looks amazing. I am unable to get these to play though. Do I need to patch these files somehow? I loaded the files onto my handheld emulater and both games just show up and play as Smackdown 2: Know Your Role

Wow!! I'm stunned! I wasn't sure what to expect because this is the first time I've used a mod game on my psx emulator. And what did I get?? An ECW game complete with wrestler entrances, music and managers. A massive thank you to those who created this. You have made my day!
