Thank you for making such a fun, detailed and solid mod! It plays even better than SD2, and the groggy grapple is a great idea. I've just skimmed the surface of 3.0 and love it already!

Hi there great mod. Loving it.
I am having a problem in career mode at the rumble, the game freezes at entry 13. Has anyone mentioned this before??
I've tried adjusting setting, didnt help.
When I play the over the top match on exhibition no problems at all.

Man the care and effort, not to mention the time you committed to the details of this game and the wcw...unbelievable. absolutely love the releases. Hopefully you can give us a WWF 95-98 version soon to cover the new generation and early attitude era.

Sd2 has always been my favorite, even after 20+ years. As for installing it on a hard drive, it can be played on official hardware or any emulator on pc or mobile which would require you to copy to a hard drive or SD card.

SD2 siempre ha sido mi favorito, incluso después de más de 20 años. En cuanto a su instalación en el disco duro, se puede jugar en el hardware oficial o en cualquier emulador de PC o móvil, lo que requeriría copiarlo a un disco duro o una tarjeta SD.

The new 2.0 mod doesn't seem to accept my save file from v1.5. It just keeps saying there's no SD2 data on the memory card (I'm playing on PS3 through HEN). Was this the intention that we had to start from scratch again?

Unfortunately yes, any major updates I change the save Id so nothing is screwed up due to the changes. There is a solution on PC/Android (it would take more work for PS3 but do able) but again it may take some tweaking to get it all right again. 1 thing that you would lose and couldn't add if you do not use a fresh save is Rich managing Guido and Jack victory coming out with Corino, that's just 2 but there are other reasons to restart.

As a die hard ECW fan this is like a dream come true, thank you so much for making this, really appreciate your efforts. The only recommendation I can make is if you can somehow put some blood into this game, either in cut scenes or somehow get the wrestlers bleeding in the ring, could make it better. But as it stands this game is one of my favorites to play right now!

This game and WCW Rebooked looks amazing. I am unable to get these to play though. Do I need to patch these files somehow? I loaded the files onto my handheld emulater and both games just show up and play as Smackdown 2: Know Your Role

You likely have sd2 in the folder too. My mods no longer have the original sd2 files so you would never see anything but my stuff. Try removing any other versions of sd2 or manually load it.

Wow!! I'm stunned! I wasn't sure what to expect because this is the first time I've used a mod game on my psx emulator. And what did I get?? An ECW game complete with wrestler entrances, music and managers. A massive thank you to those who created this. You have made my day!

ECW 2: All-out will be out sometime in 2025, it will improve everything. This mod was mostly done in 2016 and just rushed to completion in 2024 after years of letting it sit. ECW 2 will be more like the wcw mod I'm about to release so check that out to see what I mean.

I played this game yesterday, and i would say it's actually a great ECW mod, and definitely better than the official ECW games for the PS1!

If we can get The Barbwire Match from Simple 1500 Added to the game we are in the money but either way this mod gets a 5 star frogsplash rating. Never playing those acclaim games again!

I appreciate the review, I just played the acclaim games a few days ago to compare the gameplay to sd2, It wasn't good and i had played attitude for months straight as a kid and now I do not know how I didn't break my controller.

Barbwire would be nice but most games with barbwire are actually really cheesy, hopefully when it's eventually figured out some new barbwire specific animations can be added instead of just falling down or laying on the ropes. I have faith that one of the code hackers will bring new match types in the near future.
